Might as well share my spoils. On Wednesday, I went to one of my favourite shops in Perth, this incredible little tea house that specializes in Japanese green teas and traditional Japanese gifts with the friendliest shop owner I have ever met. He is so passionate about his teas but so humble as well. ;~; Got a glasses case and a handbag for my mother, who returned from Bangkok yesterday, made with cotton (I think?) and chirimen crepe, and a bento box/chopsticks set from Hakoya. Also a pretty little glass teapot since the other teapot I got from there is used all the time, and high grade gyokuro tea!
This woman makes the most amazing bento creations. I remember finding her blog around the end of 2008 and despite having very little interest in Japanese culture at the time I would check back almost daily because her stuff was so cool.
Between then and now, I moved computers and lost my bookmarks and completely forgot about her blog until today. I’m so happy because she is still doing it and they are getting better and better and yeah.
This person is a good. I like them. I like their creations. She also does plushes :O

Oh hell yes! I love the art of bento making. :D I’ve got a fairly sizeable bento collection at home but I haven’t put it to use as much as I could have. Should seriously change that! Between all the bento blogs and Budget Bytes and so on there are so many awesome ideas to experiment with. *_*
